Who should take this course?
Workers in the marine industry, who are involved in lifting operations using mobile or tower cranes.
Requirements
- Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents or holders of valid Work Permits
- Able to read and write English
- Medically fit
- Company-sponsored
Note:
- Signalmen will only be required to attend the Signalman Course (Marine).
- Riggers are required to attend both the Signalman Course and Rigger Course (Marine).
- The Signalman Course (Marine) is a pre-requisite for the Rigger Course (Marine).
How will I be assessed?
- Theory
- Practical
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Candidates who have successfully passed their course examiniations, will be issued the Marine Signalman Pass and Certificate by The Association of Singapore Marine Industries (ASMI).
