The aim of this programme is to equip students with the comprehensive knowledge on construction project management and main elements that contributes to successful delivery of the project. Today making construction project success within the scope is challenging compared to other industries. The reason behind this is the nature and several teams involved in stages. The programme is developed for students with project management skills such as planning, scheduling, programme logic evaluation, Cost planning, resource planning and monitoring. The programme is meant to learners who are passionate to manage the construction site (or) project effectively in order to deliver the project successfully.
This course will suit future and existing project managers to enhance their theoretical knowledge in phases that is involved in pre-construction stage. The curriculum recognizes and responds to the changing needs of society in the construction industry. This programme ensures that the graduate students will be equipped with skills to sustain and excel in the dynamic Singapore construction industry and the region.
The students will learn on the PMP, management, Gantt chart, PERT, cost planning, project supervision and control, safety management that are essentials to deliver the project within predetermined time, cost and quality.. The main objective of this diploma programme is to prepare students to manage the project effectively and use resources efficiently.
