The Formwork Safety Course for Supervisor is aimed at providing individuals with the knowledge and skill required to supervise the construction, erection, and alteration or dismantling and inspection of formwork structures at any worksites.

Who is this course for?

The FSCS is a mandatory training course for individuals who are appointed to supervise the construction, erection, alteration or dismantling and inspection of formwork structures at any worksites.

What will I learn?

1. Fundamentals of False work and Formwork Construction
2. Roles and Responsibilities of Supervisors
3. WSH Legislation and Codes of Practice
4. Interpretation of Working Drawings
5. Construction Strength of Materials and Shoring
6. Ensure formwork structure construction is in accordance with approved design
7. Identify job hazards and apply control measures
8. Inspect formwork before, during and after concreting
9. Respond to failure in formwork structure, fire and emergencies

How will I be assessed?

Written and practical / Role play / Case study

Requirements

1. Employability Skills System (ESS) Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 4 and above, or equivalent.

Will I recieve a certification of completion?

Upon successful completion of the course a certificate endorsed by Greensafe International Pte Ltd will be issued the participants.
