Course details
Versatility, dynamics and coordination are important traits of a great drummer. Through the first level of this course, you will learn and strengthen fundamental techniques such as proper grip, stick control, footwork, coordination and reading drum scores. You will also be exposed to standard rudiments; basic patterns or “drum vocabulary” which can be combined in an infinite variety of ways to create grooves.
The second and third levels focuses on advanced techniques and concepts such as improvisation, independence, musicality, balance, dynamics and shadings – all essential skills to becoming a better drummer for your band. Using the latest contemporary music, you will be able to apply these techniques while playing your favourite songs!
Become a well-rounded drummer and build up a solid foundation to be versatile in a variety of different styles.
