Entry Requirement:

- 16 years old and above
- At least ONE GCE 'O' Level or equivalent
- A pass in Chinese Language at GCE ' O' Level or equivalent
- A pass in English Language at GCE'O' level or equivalent

Program :

1) Principles of Management

This module provides students with an overview of the following:

- Defining Management
- The Organizing Function of Management
- The Controlling Function of Management
- The Leading Function of Management
- The Planning Function of Management


2) Business Communication

This module provides students with an overview of the following key areas:
- The Concepts of Business Communication
- Theory and Reasons for the Communication Process
- Strategic Communication and Acquiring Persuasion Skills
- Business Working Relationships and Networking Skills
- Overcoming the Barriers and Improving Communication Skills
- Organizational Communication-Structures, Strategic, Tactical and Operational
- Developing Teams-The importance of teamwork and cultivating team spirit
- Learning to Negotiate for Success


3) Management Information Application

On completion of this module, the learner will understand how to apply the knowledge of information system in business operating process. This module covers the fundamentals of the computer and the basic of business operations. Students will be able to grasp the knowledge of information system and apply to the business process.

4) Human Resource

On completion of this module, the learner will have a clear understand of the following key areas of Human Resource:
- An overview of Human Resource Management
- Recruitment and Placement
- Training and Development
- Compensation
- Employee Relations

5) Principle of Marketing

On completion of this module, the learner would have covered the following key areas:
- The Concepts of Marketing
- Strategic Marketing Planning
- Consumer Buying Behavior
- Managing Marketing Information
- The Marketing Mix (4 Ps plus 3 Ps)
- Market Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning

6) Accounting

On completion of this module, the learner would have covered the following key areas:
- The Concepts of Business Accounting
- Theory and the Application of Business Accounting
- Book-keeping and the entry system and the Interpretation of Accounts
- Operating Statements
- Opening and Closing of Accounts
- Cost Accounting and Classifying Cost
- Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Audit Trails and the Final Accounts
- Budgeting and the various costing standards
- Sales and Purchase Ledger.

Assessment & Award

- Each module will be formally assessed by a written examination, assignments and class participation.
- Students will be awarded with Addison Institute - Diploma in Business Administration upon meeting the following criteria:
Successfully completed and passed all exams in the course.
Attained the attendance of minimum 75% or above.
- Addison Institute will provide with certificate of attendance for those who have not passed all exams
