CTM 2 Topics

  1. What is traverse?
  2. Traverse terminology, i.e. Datums, Azimuth, Assumed Bearings, Precision, etc.
  3. Basic introduction to conventional Total Station usage.
  4. Best practice field procedures to minimize errors.
  5. Related computations, e.g. Angular and Linear misclose and Precision.
  6. Traverse adjustment procedures and techniques:
  • Angular misclose distribution
  • Bowitch and Transit adjustment
  • Least squares adjustment introduction & usage of computer software, e.g. Star*Net, etc.

Withdrawal and Deferment
