This hands-on media-based training workshop will put you through the rigours of a live television interview to get you out of your comfort zone. Get through the tough terrain and you’re on your way to landing your dream job!
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Part 1: Verbal communication - how to speak well and avoid sounding Singlish. It will include common pronunciation and grammatical mistakes and useful pronunciation tips.
Part 2: Non-verbal communication - body language, facial expressions, posture, appearance and attire. It will also include the non-verbal elements of speech - such as the use of pitch, pace and stress, and even speaking style.
Part 3: Live camera sessions - giving participants practical hands-on experience on interviewing and being interviewed with immediate feedback and analysis.
