In today’s fast changing competitive technological era, it is absolutely essential that our key stakeholders including site supervisors (REs & RTOs) in the engineering building construction (ECB) industries are equipped and acquainted with up-to-date knowledge of related laws & local regulations and are fully aware and conscious of their legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities (both civil & criminal) in order to carry out their work & duties diligently and effectively.

Further, with recent amendments in the Building Control Regulations to recognise graduates from more foreign universities as site supervisors (REs and RTOs) for local projects, this course will be useful to REs & RTOs with foreign qualifications, as well as to local graduates too, and others who wish to acquire an essential knowledge of &/or be updated on the local legal aspects of site safety, health & environmental requirements. 

This particular module will provide participants with an up-to-date essential knowledge of Singapore’s laws and regulations on site safety, health & environmental requirements, which are relevant to the EBC industries and are faced by or connected with ECB projects.
