Course details
The course discusses the core of 'Safety' and 'Security' of supply chain security management and introduced various international, regional and national supply chain security instruments and programmes implemented by US and Europe for today's transport chain. At the end of the Course, participants will be able to:
- Describe current safety and security measures used in his daily practices as a Freight Forwarder.
- Explain the difference between safety and security.
- List and describe existing security initiatives and programs (AMS, BTA, CSI, C-TPAT, FAST, ISPS Code, TAPA-EMEA, CDI-MPC, ISOPAS 28000, AEO and CSP) in the transport chain, taking into account the different modes of transport.
- List and describe the safety and quality assessment system (SQAS).

Certification
A 30-minute open-book assessment will be conducted at the end of the seminar to ensure participants' understanding on the topics. A Certificate of Achievement will be awarded upon successful completion of the assessment and attainment of 75% attendance.

Designed specifically according to FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations) Minimum Standard (FMST), the course introduces participants to basic knowledge of international safety and security programs for freight logistics industry.
