Course details
This course is designed to assist the leaners to widen his knowledge on the uses and functions of nutritious, hi-fibre rich dried fruits and nuts from the USA. This practical hands-on training course is INTERESTING, FUN and EASY way to enjoy baking. Learners will be able to understand the techniques for preparing ingredients, panning and perfectly shaping your own luscious baked goods. You will learn classical all-American bread, cakes, pastries and cookies.
Course Content
- Identify and work with basic ingredients
- How to build a formulation from scratch
- Build an impressive repertoire that includes European and American style bakeries
- Mixing method and processing techniques
- Baking tips, how dried fruits and nuts can be used to fine-tune recipes to earn raves from your customers or family
Certificate - Certificate of Attainment
Upon successful completion of the Course,learners must meet the below minimum requirements for Certificate to be awarded.
- Learners must achieve at least 75% attendance and successfully pass both the theory and practical assessments upon which they will be awarded with Certificate in California Style Baking issued by Baking Industry Training College.

Academic Level
Minimum Secondary 2 Level or Other Equivalent Qualifications & Relevant Experience deemed as equivalent by Baking Industry Training College (Subject to Approval by Academic Board) & Interview may be required if applicant does not meet the relevant entry requirement

The Baking Industry Training College (we_they) began operations Sept 21st,1993 as a partnership between Prima Limited and the Productivity and Standards Board (now SPRING Singapore) to elevate Singapore's baking industry into a modern regional baking hub. we_they has since then acquired a reputation for its excellent standards and total dedication to the teaching of the baking craft. The college imparts practical hands-on, theoretical knowledge and conducts Continuing Education and Training (CET) programs and technical consultancy.
