As a corporate communications officer, you have to keep a close and constant watch on current affairs to sieve out events which may have implications for your organisation. Learn the three-step system of sensing, analysing and briefing so that your stakeholders will have a cogent understanding of the event and its potential impact on them. This course will sharpen your analytical skills to help you achieve this as well as make you more confident in dealing with your media environment.

- Detect daily news events that may have an impact on the government
- Evaluate unfolding news events and their implications for the functioning of the government machinery
