Course details

This course is aimed at Test Centre Managers and/or the individual within the Test Centre who has overall responsibility for the day to day administration and supervision of the Test Centre operation.
Come with an open mind and a willingness to contribute in a 1 day workshop style training session and we’ll give you the tools and the skills to implement and successfully manage the VTN/CVRT Supervision Plan within your Test Centre.

COURSE CONTENT

RSA Supervision Policy 2014:

Overview of the legal framework including; Concept, Key Factors, RSA intentions, Practical implications, Independence of Supervision, Role of Internal/External Supervision, Designing Good Feedback Reports, Disciplinary Policy/ Direction Notices

Risk Indicator Management:

Risk Factors, managing and reducing risk, managing and increasing compliance

Developing Supervision Policy:

Key Elements, Practical Design, training of staff involved, template document designs. Specific areas of non-compliance as identified through VTN experience and RSA feedback, methods to reduce, handle and avoid non-compliance issues.

Use of CoVIS Monitoring and Measurement Test Centre performance:

Interpreting data and reports, measuring your own KPI’s, Manual overrides, strategies to minimise occurrence, reports and own KPI’s, Using Data to identify and manage Risk Factors

Managing Quality in Testing – the role of ISO 9001 for RSA Supervision Concept:

Tester Independence, Holding quality meetings, Rotation policies, Technical Queries, Consistency in Testing Standards. Internal Auditing, role of the IA, skills, independence, follow-ups, non-technical staff auditing technical processes, corrective action process and documentations.

Role of External Supervisors:

Statutory functions of the RSA and BV, consistency checks, supervised testing, Re-testing.

Administration Procedures and Risk Management:

Centrality of administration procedures in operating a Test Centre to minimise risk and optimise compliance, measures to implement and improve good procedures and policies, role of continuous improvement and the Quality Management System.
