The aim of the Silenos programme is to provide participants who have mental health difficulties with the opportunity to develop the confidence and personal and social skills to improve the quality of their lives and make independent and informed choices. The programme explores recreational and social activities while promoting wellness and working towards recovery. Age Profile: 18 –65 yrs (must be registered with the HSE). Training Hours: Full-time 30hrs per week. Part-time 15hrs per week. Programmes Supports: Centre Psychologist, Rehabilitation Officer, Mental Health Clinics, Resource Teacher. Silenos Rehabilitation

Every year, over 5,000 people of all ages and from all walks of life, come to learn and study with us at their training centres which are located in almost every county in Ireland. As Ireland's largest non-governmental training and education organisation, they offer over 70 different training ctheirses from art and cookery to computer and business skills.
Over 90 per cent of those who completed their programmes last year moved on to employment or to further education and training.
