Course details
The Senior Trades Certificate is a recognised qualification awarded by the Dept. of Education & Science. After completion of this exam, you will receive your Senior Trades Certificate. The Senior Trades Certificate is mandatory if you wish to pursue a career in teaching hairdressing in the public sector. This hairdressing course is perfect for fully qualified stylists looking to do the Senior Trades Exam on a Part-time basis.
MOHH is providing a facility to help Candidates competent in all Aspects of Hairdressing to undertake the Senior Trades Certificate and will be giving Guidance as to what the inspector will be looking for in Exams. Candidates will have to complete additional Study and Work of approximately 3 hours per week at home.

- Candidates for the Senior Trades Exam must be Competent in all or most of the following:
- Cutting Hair with techniques
- Colouring & Highlighting Hair
- Perming & Neutralising Hair
- Set & Dress Hair / Style & Finish Hair
- Shampooing & Condition Hair
- Health & Safety
- Promoting Products & Services
- Client Consultation
- Hairdressing Science
Course Schedule
Part-time Senior Trades is for Qualified Senior Stylists competent in all aspects of Hairdressing. The Course will run between Jan and May Monday evenings from 5.00 pm – 8.00 pm

Hairdressing Training:
The Training Academy at MOHH is a fully accredited training academy as recognised by the State Commission/Department of Education, City and guilds, World Hairdressing Federation and OMC.
Training is provided for:
Students and industry members who wish to improve to stylist level....MOHH Academy will provide you with the skills and confidence to move to stylist level.
We also cater for industry participants who wish to gain particular expertise in areas such as bridal hair, fantasy hair, hair extensions and many more specfic skills. We also provide a range of day and evening courses.
