and participants will be subjected to a summative assessment to test their competencies on the respective 4 topics. The topics includes; Studying security operations procedures, Supervising direction of security officers, Supervising control of security officers, Supervising emergency situations and Supervising health and safety at work. The assessment is based on oral questions, role plays and written work. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded a Statement of Attainment (SOA) which would be counted as 2 credits for those pursuing the Advanced Certificate in Security Supervision.
For whom: Security Officers and anyone wishing to join the security industry as a supervisor or those deployed at various locations and events to perform supervisory roles.
Minimum entry requirements: Completed Secondary Two (English) or SPM or WPL Level 4 or with WSQ or NSRS Enhanced Basic Security Training or at least 2 years working as a Security Officer. Grants: Workfare Training Scheme (WTS),CETC & SRP (absentee payroll) available enquire
