Safe Pass Dublin

Course details

FÁS Safe Pass is required by all construction related front line employees under the Irish Construction Regulations. All our instructors are highly experienced in the construction sector and have been on the FÁS approved list for many years.

Assessment: Written assessment as set out by FÁS accreditation.

Accreditation: On full completion of this course each participant will receive a FÁS Safe Pass Card.

Course Objectives

• Raise industry status of safety awareness
• Ensure all site personnel undergo training
• Maintain a register of trained personnel
• Provide all participants with a Safe Pass Card

Attendee Requirements

Each attendee of the safe pass Dublin course is required to have each of the following:

• PPS Number / Social Security Number
• Two passport sized photos
• Stamped self-addressed envelope
• Good standard of English

Additional information for Foreign Nationals

*Applications submitted on behalf of foreign nationals working on a main contract in the Republic of Ireland and employed by a subcontracting construction company, must provide evidence of their employment status and their national security number from their country of origin. Only in these circumstances may an STB Process number be requested.

The documentation must contain:-

• Candidate’s country of origin
• Name, address and contact details of their employer
• Name, address and contact details of the main contractor and the site location they are working on.
• Identification of the candidate requiring Safe Pass i.e. copy of Passport or Drivers Licence
