    Trina Ha
    Ms Trina Ha is a legal counsel at the IP Academy. Previously in legal practice, she specialised in matters involving the protection, management and exploitation of intellectual property rights in various industries including the media, telecommunications, internet, F&B, retail and fashion sectors. She was also at one point legal counsel with the Media Development Authority of Singapore where she drafted, reviewed and negotiated the contracts for the Authority's range of investments in film, television, animation and game development and production. She has conducted talks and customized workshops on intellectual property rights for various companies, organisations and institutes of higher learning. Ms Ha co-authored the volume on Media Law published by Butterworths as the first title in the series of Singapore Precedents and Forms. During her time in legal practice, she was ranked annually since 2007 in the intellectual property industry and TMT industry by the Asia Pacific Legal 500.

    MDA Grant
    Eligible media practitioners, including full-time media freelancers, are subject to up to 90% grant of the total course fees (excluding GST) with the MDA Talent Assistance (Training) Scheme. In addition, media freelancers could apply for Training Allowance of $7.50 per hour. All applications are subject to approval.     Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis and workshop fees must be paid before the workshop. If the minimum number of participants is not met for the class, the organisers will inform all participants about possible postponement and cancellation of workshop, two weeks before the workshop date.

    All ALAP workshops serve tea-breaks and provide course handouts.

    Withdrawals:
    The Organiser will refund 75% of the course fees if written notice of withdrawal is received at least 1 week before the commencement of the course. The remaining 25% will be charged as an administration fee. No refund will be made for any withdrawal after this period except in mitigating and extenuating circumstances (e.g. bereavement, illness and accidents), subject to management's approval. Documentary evidence must be produced in such circumstances.

    Substitutions are welcome at any time. However, such requests must be made to the IP Academy in writing.

    Cancellation & Refund:
    The Organiser reserves the right of cancellation. A full refund will be given to registrants if the course is cancelled by the Organiser. The IP Academy reserves the right to make changes to the programme.
