Course details
The Royal Horticultural Society’s Level 3 Certificate is broken into two parts: the Principles of Plant Growth, Health and Applied Propagation and the Principles of Garden Planning, Construction and Planting is an internationally recognised qualification and follows on from the RHS Level 2 Certificate (or Diploma) in the Principles of Horticulture. An attractive feature of this course is that it is purely horticultural and students are not required to study non-horticultural subjects as is the case on many other courses on offer.
Who is Eligible?
There is no minimum academic entry requirement for the RHS Level 3 Certificate and success in the RHS Level 2 in the Principles of Horticulture is not a pre-requisite. However, the course is aimed at those who have studied the RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Horticulture or one of a similar content. Those who have no previous experience of horticulture are recommended to take the RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Horticulture prior to studying for the Level 3.
