Course details
The aim of the Autodesk Revit Architecture Professional course is to teach delegates the principles of Building Information Modelling, through producing complete 3D architectural project models, introducing parametric building design tools and creating working drawings from the models. The training concentrates on the necessary tools which delegates will need to understand and be able use effectively in order to work with Autodesk Revit Architecture software from schematic design through to construction documentation, visualisation and detailed design/construction.
This course is delivered in a blended manner, combining classroom delivery and online learning. It is structured to give participants experience in using and understanding the features and functionality of the product, using hands-on exercises, practical assignments, continuous assessments and tutorials. It is designed to prepare candidates for the Autodesk Revit Architecture Professional Certification Exam.
The course comprises 5 major modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Revit Architecture
Module 2: System Family Creation/Manipulation:
- Wall, Floor, Ceiling, Roof Elements
Module 3: Developing the Building Model
- Loadable Components, Stairs, Railings, Ramps
Module 4: Drafting & Documentation
- 2D Detailing, Scheduling, Sheet Sets
Module 5: Revit Architecture Professional Exam Preparation & Sitting
