OBJECTIVES
This course is a statement of the standards to be achieved to gain a FETAC award in Retail Security at Level 5. It is designed to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence to work as a Retail Security Officer performing practical security duties and procedures, to, include loss prevention techniques, and responding to security situations, in order to maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and member of the public.

QUALIFICATION
This Module is certified by FETAC, through Aras Rualach and is accredited at level 5 recognised under the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Learners wishing to do this course, should hold at least a level 4 certificate, leaving Certificate or equivalent Qualifications and/or relevant life / work experiences
