This course is all about improving your equipment or plant utilization by applying a Quick changeover (QCO) technique. This QCO can be applied wherever equipment is idle due to setting or changeover from one model to another.
This course is structured with a basic understanding of change over time definition and its relevance in different manufacturing processes, outlining the impact of high changeover time on customer's expectation, Business profitability and to the operations team. Also, the course is structured to give fundamental differences between the traditional and QCO methodology of settings and step by step process of QCO is explained with simple examples.
Also, practical insights in each step of QCO are given so that the student can apply the technique easily in his work environment
