Course details
At present many hospital laboratories have implemented a quality management system in compliance with ISO 15189. This one day course examines the requirements of ISO 15189, its relevance in the day to day operation of a lab, interpretation of the requirements and the process based approach to auditing for compliance.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this training course the delegates should be able to:
- Describe the main elements of ISO 15189
- Understand the process based approach
- Understand how ISO 15189 fits into the day to day operation of a lab
Course Programme
Review of all sections of ISO 15189:2102 using slides and discussion groups to share examples and experiences of requirements, with particular reference to the process based approach
