Course details
This course consists of 6 ½ days and is for all healthcare professionals. The course will be an introduction to quality improvement methodology. As part of the course all participants must complete a quality improvement project in their workplace. Throughout the duration of the course participants will learn and practice the methodology within their projects. Participants will also learn how to lead and sustain change.
The course topics are as follows:
- Introduction to quality improvement
- Tools for improvement
- Delivering safe clinical care
- Leading for change
The final module will focus on giving participants feedback on their project. This course is interactive and will include regular group discussions. Participants will present their projects on the final day of the course.
