Course details
The aim of this module is to furnish students with the knowledge and skills to analyse the quality management functions within the Irish health service; critique the Irish and European legislation and Policy context for quality in health care and appraise the systems and structures required to ensure the effective utilisation of all relevant health information in relation to policy making, service planning and the management and administration of health services with regard to quality. The key elements of clinical governance and the structures, systems and processes required to incorporate clinical governance within health care organizations is also an integral part of the module.
