Course details

Course is to equip learners with the skills, knowledge & understanding to safely operate an artic dumper.

Course Objectives:

On completion of this course the learners will be;

  • Aware of the current Health & Safety Legislation as it applies to safe operation of an Artic Dumper
  • Able to operate safely an Artic Dumper
  • Aware of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Quarry) Regulations 2008

Course Programme:

  • Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005
  • Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Quarry) Regulations 2008
  • Employers & Employees legal duties under current Health & Safety Legislation
  • Traffic Management
  • Site Safety

Training Methods:

Classroom based presentation on power-point. Learners will gain some practical experience operating an Artic Dumper with our highly experienced instructor.

Who Should Attend?

Those employees who are responsible for or in control of an Artic Dumper

Additional Information:

  • Maximum of 3 learners
  • SOLAS CSCS Identity Card & FETAC certification will be awarded to those who successfully complete & pass this two day course
  • Learners must have an up to date Safe Pass Card & their own PPE (e.g. Safety Footwear etc….)
