Course details
This course is designed to help learners develop their skills in drawing, painting, 3D studies and life drawing, using a variety of media and materials including monoprint, pastels, charcoal etc. The course content is structured to cover many aspects of art, craft and design. While preparing a high quality portfolio, learners will also have the opportunity to complete a QQI Level 5 Award in Art with the potential to gain a maximum of 400 CAO points for entry into third level institutions. Study is arranged through a series of projects which are designed to enhance and develop learners' visual awareness and to support them in developing a portfolio of creative work.

- Leaving Certificate or equivalent or LCA

selection of their best work to include
 drawing from observation, 3D work, craft
work, sketch books or notebooks.
- Mature applicants welcome

 meeting formal entry qualifications.
