Public Speaking Basics

Course details

This interactive workshop is the quickest way to improve your public speaking I have yet found. I've run versions of this for hundreds of people of all ages and without fail, I see a dramatic improvement over the course of this one short workshop. The primary value of this workshop is the individualized feedback you'll receive on a speech that you give.

In this course you'll get a series of short videos in which I cover the following areas with tips and techniques:

Prep and basics

Eyes

Mouth

Hands

Feet

Props

Content

Again, the videos with tips are helpful, but don't mistake them for the main value of this course! The main value is when you give your speech and get feedback specific to you!

After taking in the tips you will then record yourself in front of at least one other person giving a 3-minute speech on any topic, and answering a few quick questions from them afterwards. You'll schedule a free session with Lyceum Communications where they'll review your speech and give you feedback.

By the end of this workshop, you WILL be a better public speaker!
