This course is intended to summarize the current best practices about methods used for R&D project selection. The methods discussed are presented in forms that are directly usable in practice. The data requirements and the special features of each method are also discussed, which cater for the needs of any member of the portfolio management community such as portfolio managers. In addition, this course enables project originators, project managers, business analysists, and sponsors to tailor their proposals, and projects to enhance the likelihood of support, by helping them focus on the truer needs of those who provide the support.
