Course details

Microsoft Project is a project management application that contains a set of tools to help managers plans, schedule and control projects. The project plan file acts as a repository for all project-related information, including task lists, resources, calendars and cost data

Objectives

This course builds on the skills and concepts taught in Publisher 2010: Basic. Students will learn how to control colours and gradients, create and apply styles, work with WordArt objects, and apply section page numbers and bookmarks.

They will also learn how to create and manage mail merge lists, edit web forms and elements, and maintain and publish Web sites created in previous editions of Publisher. Finally, students will learn to customize the Ribbon and Quick Access toolbar.

Prerequisites

  • A working knowledge of PCs and a mouse is assumed.
  • It is also recommended that proposed delegates have attended a Windows 2000 or Windows 2002 course or have obtained comparable knowledge from the workplace.

Who should attend?

New users of Project who are unclear as to its purpose and use. Existing users who may have been selftaught and feel that they may not be making best use of the product
