Course Objective
The Professional Certificate in Supply Chain Strategy aims to provide a critical knowledge of the principles and techniques of supply chain strategy for executives at the corporate level of an organisation.
Topics include aligning the supply chain strategy with corporate goals; identifying supply chain drivers and metrics, designing distribution networks and applications to e-Business, designing global supply chain network, demand forecasting, aggregate planning, transportation, as well as supply chain co-ordination and sustainability.
Faculty & Mode Of Delivery
Our teaching faculty are experienced practitioners with the accredited academic qualifications and professional competence. This course is 100% face-to-face lecture. The course work includes attendance at lectures, case discussions and class participations.
Attendance & Assessment
Attendance is monitored regularly and unless approved, students must achieve a minimum overall attendance of 75% to sit for the written examination.
Assessment of this course is based on a combination of class presentation (15%), a written assignment (25%) and an examination (60%).
Admission Criteria
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and must have attained an academic qualification not lower than the Diplomas awarded by SIPMM Academy, or Polytechnics in Singapore, or any established institution approved by the Academic Board. Those who do not have requisite qualifications, but have related work experience can be considered for entry to this course.
Academic Award
This course focuses on holistic learning. In order to pass this course, students must complete all the assessment tasks and receive the minimum aggregate mark of 50. Students who complete this course successfully within the stated candidature period will be awarded with the Professional Certificate in Supply Chain Strategy.
Award Recognition
Graduates of this course can qualify for an international competency award as a World Certified Professional in the field of supply chain management, which is granted by World Certification Institute (WCI).
