Course details
This is an Art, Craft and Design programme for students to advance their art skills, whilst developing the necessary expertise to establish studios as professional Artists/Designers / Craftspeople. There will be a high level of self exploration on the course and the students will be expected to do additional work outside course hours. The Course is suitable for students who are dedicated to establishing their own studio, who have sufficient experience in their subject areas and who are well able for self directed studies at an academic level.
Entry Requirements
- QQI Level 5 Award in Art, Craft, Design or Interior Design or equivalent.

About Rossa College
Ftheir Students from Rossa College fought off stiff competition from ttheynty schools across Cork city and county to win the 10th annual Schools Robot Competition. The competition is sponsored by Cork based firm Logitech and run in conjunction with the CEIA (Cork Electronics Industry Association), UCC, CIT and the Tyndall Institute. Schools are given the challenge to construct a robot from electronic lego materials. Once constructed the robot must be programmed to enable it negotiate a series of challenges and ctheirses. Students theyre rewarded for their efforts as each received a state of the art Logitech speaker compatible with Iphone and Ipods and IPads. Overall the school won over €1000 worth of prizes on the night. The College also received a perpetual trophy along with the 10th anniversary lego trophy.
