The Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply is a UK level 5 advanced chartered qualification awarded by the prestigious CIPS, the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (UK). This procurement and supply chain management course is designed for intermediate to senior procurement and supply professionals who have completed the Diploma level 4 UK CIPS qualification. This course will bring your learning to the next advanced stage. Exploration into management, risk management and managing supply chain performance will ensure you can deal with any possible issues that may arise and affect the supply chain.
The newest feature of this course is Live Online classes. Live online classes allow you to interact and ask questions while listening to your lecturer deliver their class live online. If you are unable to make the session, all live classes are recorded for revision and playback purposes. They are available for both classroom and distance students.
Course Aims
The Procurement and Supply course will examine diverse purchasing management practices, the importance of organisational structures, managing different cultures, techniques to deal with conflict within teams and between individuals. Plans to overcome human resistance to change and to implement change successfully will be explored.
An analysis of potential sources of risk to organisations and identify strategic, operational and project based areas of risk. Students will also learn to Analyse purchasing activities and explain how to manage them to assure an organisation meets its objectives. Evaluate different negotiation strategies, styles and levels in different supply chain contexts.
Progression
Successful graduates will hold the title Adv.Dip.PS after their name. Upon completion of the Advanced Diploma, students are eligible to pursue the Graduate Diploma level 6 UK in Purchasing & Supply and gain full membership of CIPS.

Eligibility
This course is open to people from any educational background and with various levels of work experience. Students must have completed the CIPS level 6 Purchasing & Supply Diploma to be eligible for entry to this course. Exemptions are only achieved for exact course modules completed in another institute.
