Students work with local newspapers, publishing and media production agencies, and may also engage in work simulation organised through the college.
Special Features
Classes operate in the Apple Mac computer lab with the latest programmes including Quark Xpress 8 and Adobe Photoshop.
Students have the chance to get published, and to prepare a portfolio.
Entry Requirements
FETAC Level 4, minimum of 17 years of age at time of registration, Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied, Equivalent qualifications from other countries, relevant life experiences, relevant work experiences and mature students.
Career Opportunities
Students have progressed to work as journalists in various newspapers an magazines throughout Ireland.
