This course is an overview of safety considerations when using a press brake in a metal fabricating shop.
Students will learn who is responsible for different aspects of press brake safety. What is the owner's responsibility and what is the manufacturer's responsibility. You will also learn important vocabulary like what the "point of operation" is and what an AOPD or active opto-electric Protective Device is.
