Course details
This one year Pre-Masters Foundation Programme is a direct pathway to an Irish University Masters Degree with our Partner Colleges in Ireland. The programme aims to develop the learners academic English language skills to a level that will allow them to pursue a Masters Degree programme at an Irish University. Learners will be provided with the practical skills and knowledge they need to maximise their potential and to make a successful transition to higher education in an Irish/western context.
International students with an existing Level 8 Degree will acquire the foundation knowledge skills and competencies required to successfully participate and embark on a Master’s Degree Programme alongside their Irish counterparts.
The Requirements for the Pre-Masters Foundation Programme:
Designed for International applicants who have completed an Undergraduate Level 8 Degree Programme or hold an Existing Level 8 Degree and have achieved an IELTS score of 5.0 / TOEFL 5250 or equivalent to be eligible for entry.
Assessment
A combination of module appropriate assessment procedures will facilitate the assessment of learning outcomes of this course. These methods will include a combination of final written examinations and continuous assessment processes such as assignments, collection of work, learner records, projects and skills demonstration.
