Course details

Have you ever wanted to play music you like to listen to, as well as the pieces your teacher chooses? Ever been asked to play at a party but had nothing to play? Do you sometimes wonder why you can’t remember those exam pieces you slaved over last year?
If the answer to these questions is yes, our new 8 week improvisation course is for you! Under the guidance of composer, pianist and improvisor CONOR LINEHAN, it will teach you to read the chord symbols for songs … show you how you can take a tune and play it ten different ways … make up  your own music on the spot … and play in jazz, pop and rock styles without missing a beat.
Share his expertise and become part of the RIAM’s  exciting  venture – start a whole new chapter in the story of your playing!  Classes commence on Thursday 9th and Saturday 11th October 2014.
