Course details
The Practical English for Community Integration course is designed to aid and encourage Non-English speaking participants master Basic English phrases and vocabularies.
This course focuses on listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, and participants will learn how to engage using English when making enquiries and filling up forms for official or personal purposes, such as applying for a service or making a registration.
A variety of local contexts pertaining to the four basic living needs (££') will be featured, including topics covering greetings, clothing, food, the neighbourhood amenities, numbers and money, transport, fixing appointments and household items.
By the end of the course, participants should be equipped with the skill-set and confidence to engage confidently in English for their daily activities.
