    In this course, participants will learn skills to develop their capacities in longer term planning, setting organizational goals and expected results. They will be taught how to predict obstacles hindering to reach results, and set scenarios to deal with these obstacles. Participants will also gain knowledge of how to identify performance indicators and milestones to help in measuring progress towards results. Finally, they will learn how to design a monitoring framework to measure achieved results.

    Module 3: Risk Management

    • Identifying managerial risks
    • Measuring and assessing risks
    • Identifying potential risks within results chain
    • Setting risk management procedures

    Module 4: Performance Indicators

    • Define performance indicators
    • Types of indicators
    • Criteria of effective indicators
    • Setting performance measurement indicators

    Module 5: Monitoring for Results

    • Concepts of performance monitoring
    • Components of monitoring framework
    • Collecting information to measure results
    • Frequency of performance measurement
    • Identifying a performance breakdown structure

    Assessment Strategy:

    Participants will be informally assessed on their interaction during sessions and their participation in exercises.
