This picture framing course is an introduction into the basic principles of picture framing.
The picture framing class is aimed at complete beginners as well as those who may have tried to frame their own work.
Ideal for people who are looking to start a hobby.
We will be working with the Logan Graphic range of framing tools.
Areas to be covered:
Picture Frame Moulding cutting or ‘mitring’ using the Logan Pro Saw and Logan Precision Sander.
Picture framing joining using the Logan Pro Joiner
Mount Cutting using the Logan 750/1 Simplex Elite mount cutter
The Logan 750/1 Mount cutter also has a facility to cut glass.
The Logan 750/1 Mount cutter also has a facility to cut backing board for the frame.
Basic frame assembly/including taping and finishing off the frame/inserting screw eyes & picture cord.
the class we will frame a small piece of artwork (Circa 10” x8”, or A4), for each person on the class.
