Course Overview:
This course provides the learner with a deep understanding of the optimizations and advanced implementations that can be added to a PHP and MySQL based application. This course is aimed at students who have a strong programming background or who have completed PHP and MySQL 2 at CCT.
Programme Aims and Objectives
This course aims to provide the learner with a strong understanding of the advanced optimizations that can be made to a web application. Once this course is completed the learner will be able to:
- Assess the limitations of a PHP web applications that utilizes a MySQL database
- Design a strategy for reducing the overhead of the application and optimize speed
- Implement a strategy to speed up a web application removing bottlenecks and performance issues

- Data storage optimizations
