Course details

The aim of the programme is to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and competence to work under supervision providing assistance and support within a retail setting, or alternatively, to progress to further training or education. The programme also aims to support learners in achieving Fetac Level 4 certification in General Learning 4M2010. Using a 40/60 Train and Place model of delivery, learners will attend in-centre theoretical and practical skills training two days per week and will complete a work experience placement provided by a host company in a retail environment

Communications, Functional Maths, Information Technology Skills, Personal Effectiveness, Retail Skills (Host company Work Experience Placement), Stock Control, Customer Service, Retail Sales Techniques, Computer Applications, Retail Payment Procedures, Entrepreneurial Skills.
