Course details

This course has been designed to give participants an opportunity to make a new beginning & start a new career after a period out of the workforce. It provides an opportunity to explore vocational opportunities in order to progress to further education and/or employment. Learners progress through the programme at a pace which is suited to their individual needs and abilities. Learners’ progress through the programme will be planned with each individual through the Individual Action Planning (IAP) and Monthly Review processes. Skills will be acquired using a variety of teaching and learning methods. All learners will be encouraged to work towards achieving a range of FETAC modules (offered internally by National Learning Network) e.g.Application of Numbers (FETAC Level 3), Communications (FETAC Level 3), Personal Effectiveness (FETAC Level 3), Computer Literacy skills (FETAC Level 3) and Work Experience (FETAC Level 3), Health & Fitness, Nutrition etc.

Application of Numbers, Communications, Computer Literacy, Career Preparation, Health and Fitness, Work Experience, Personal Effectiveness.
