Course details
This competency unit specifies the skills and knowledge required for those working under supervision to carry out basic stock handling procedures within the retail workplace.
It consists of the following elements:
- Apply procedures for receipt and processing of incoming goods
- Demonstrate the rotation of stock
- Apply stocktaking procedures
- Re-order stock
- Prepare and dispatch goods
This unit is within the competency category of Store Operations and is one of the elective modules leading to the WSQ Certificate in Retail Operations.

Participants must be proficient in reading, spoken and written English
