Course Objectives

In the recent years, perse challenges have emerged amidst the rapidly changing and dynamic global marketplace. As such, increasingly many Corporate Managers and Entrepreneurs find themselves in undesirable situations such as struggling to keep up with the advancements in the existing markets and meeting a lot of resistance breaking into new markets.

The Executive Development Programme has been developed to not only provide experiential business seminars, but also to establish networking platforms that participants can leverage on. Aside from fostering professional connections with business leaders from varying industries, participants will learn about the latest developments and best practices in the global markets. Furthermore, participants can explore the numerous business opportunities presented in China, and also appreciate the differences between Singapore and China’s economy, politics, etc.

Upon completion of the programme, participants would have acquired a strong understanding of the Chinese Market and are then able to tap on their useful connections in aiding them to break into the Chinese Market.

Teaching Methodology

This programme adopts both the teacher-centered and student-centered approaches. The teacher-centered direct instructional approach is adopted when the participants’ primary role is to receive new information that they are unfamiliar with. Once the participants have acquired the essential knowledge for student-centered approach to be carried out, then inquiry and cooperative-based learning will take place during group discussions, case presentations, brainstorming sessions, etc. Also, during business case studies and sandbox stimulations, participants will engage in experiential learning and learn from direct experience. 

Entry Requirements

 Normal Entry 

•   Applicants should have a Bachelor Degree in any specialty.

 Alternative Entry

•  Applicants without a Bachelor Degree but is working as a(an): Corporate Manager, or  Executive, or                

Assessments & Examinations

• Formative (Information) assessments may be carried out during group discussions, case presentations and brainstorming sessions. However, all participants are required to attend at least 80% of the entire course to be awarded the Testimonial of Completion.

Graduation Requirements

A Testimonial of Completion would be awarded to participants who have attended at least 80% of the entire programme.
