This class will cover deeper, hands-on configuration experience. We will delve into Payroll Data, Payroll Organization, Posting to FI (General Ledger), Third-Party Remittance, Printing Checks and Creating Direct Deposits, The Off-Cycle Workbench, Creating and Maintaining Wage Types, Wage Type Valuation, Cumulation Wage Types, Benefits Integration, Garnishments, Payroll Reporting Tools, as well as the complex topics of Retroactive Accounting, Payroll Functions, Operations, Schemas and Personnel Calculation Rules including hands-on experience writing Schemas and Rules, Claims & Claims Clearing, and Process Models. This course will provide students with both a functional understanding of payroll processing and in-depth knowledge of core configuration.
