COURSE OUTLINE
Day 1
Introduction and sharing by Pascal Campion. Participants will find out more about what it is like to work in the big studios. Pascal will then jump right into drawing exercises with the participants, where they will learn how to properly convey space, elements of space, and how to observe and interpret their environment.
Day 2
How to tell a story effectively through drawings: Learn the various tricks and secrets you can use in your drawings to convey what you want to your audience. Through discussions and exercises on elements such as staging, composition, character studies, body language, participants will learn how to bring your message across to their audience.
Day 3 + Day 4
Creating a pitch for your story: Participants will learn how to develop appealing characters and identifying a point of view from which the story is told. They will analyse and figure out the key essence of their stories, as well as understand and create environment and world where the story takes place by boarding out scenes. Using all these and the skills they learned in the first 2 days, participants will then create concept images and presentation sheets with which they can pitch their ideas to key decision makers.
