eduCBA TIBCO - File and JMS Palettes eduCBA

Course details

A specification for delivering and receiving messages between two or more Java-based applications is known as Java Message Service (JMS). To send and receive JMS messages within a process, utilise the JMS palette. The supported models are: Point-to-Point: A message is sent to a single recipient in a queue. (Subjects) Publish/Subscribe: Message sent to numerous recipients By utilising different interfaces within the API for each message paradigm, JMS supports these two models. Consult the JMS standards or the documentation of the JMS provider for further details about JMS and its message models. Common JMS headers and properties Message headers and message properties are both included in JMS properties. The JMS client sending the message sets the MessageHeader attributes. Once the message has been received, you can view these. On the Input tab of the activity that sends messages, you can additionally set MessageProperties for the outgoing messages. Get JMS Queue Message An asynchronous activity called Get JMS Queue Message obtains a message from the specified queue. Instead of waiting for a queue message to be delivered to the Wait for JMS Queue Message activity, you can use this activity to perform a receive action on the queue. JMS Receive Message A process is started by the JMS Receive Message activity when a message is received for the designated JMS destination. JS Request Reply Sending a request to a JMS destination and then waiting for a response from the JMS client is known as JMS Request Reply, an asynchronous activity. JMS Send Message The synchronous JMS Send Message activity sends a message to the chosen JMS destination. Reply to JMS Message A synchronous action called Reply To JMS Message sends a response to a JMS queue or topic message that has already been sent. The activities that can receive the JMS message are listed in the Reply For Event field on the General tab. The reply message's response is based on the activity you choose. Wait for JMS Request A signal-in activity called "Wait for JMS Request" watches for messages to arrive at the given JMS destination. Updated on 10 February, 2023
