You will explore the contents of the first aid kit in detail, learn about the role and responsibilities of the sports first aider,  through case studies and practical exercises. Our experienced instructors will take you through procedures and best practice for dealing with a range of major, minor, and environmental injuries, from sprains to frostbite and concussions.

You will have amazing theoretical and practical knowledge, with the ability to take control in the case of any first aid emergency, by the end of this course. You’ll also gain the skills and confidence to perform CPR and calm a casualty down while emergency services arrive.

Method of Assessment

To successfully complete the course, students will have to take an automated multiple-choice exam. This exam will be online and you will need to score 60% or above to pass the course. After successfully passing the exam, you will be able to apply for Quality Licence Scheme endorsed certificate of achievement.
