Introducing a Part time Professional Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology or Medical Ultrasound offered by course faculty from Medical and Education Academy from Cardiff, UK and Lifeway Medical Institute Dubai, UAE 

The Diploma is a part time 12-24 months programme.

There are two intakes each year in September and March.

The current enrollment is available for MARCH 2023.

It is aimed for healthcare professionals who are either complete beginners or have good working knowledge and experience in Ultrasound.

As it is part time it allows the flexibility to continue working full time while pursuing the Diploma.

The course incorporates a blended approach of learning with online teaching delivered by faculty from the UK, and practical sessions on a simulator arranged once in awhile in the UAE- which is the only time physical attendance would be expected, as well as during the time of examination.

Ultrasound simulators will be advantageous to skill aquistion and demonstration of competence.

All candidates must undertake a minimum of three modules (one module is mandatory) to be awarded the certification;

• Essentials of Imaging Science and Technology - is a mandatory module

Students can choose the remaining two modules for the Professional Diploma depending on their area of interest/practice:

• Fundamentals of Obstetric Ultrasound
• Fundamentals of Gynaecological Ultrasound
• Essentials of Early Pregnancy Ultrasound
• Foundations of General Medical Ultrasound

Each candidate will gain credits (250 credits for each clinical module) upon successful completion of the course.

The programme is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), Belgium, a non-governmental organization representing national associations of medical specialists in the European Union and in associated countries.
