The Master in Data Science teaches the learner to solve meaningful and complex problems and convert abundant amounts of data to useful solutions. It is a 60 ECTS master level program from Guglielmo Marconi University (GMU),the first Telematic University to be accredited by the Ministry of Education, Italy. It can be completed in 9-24 months depending on students' pace and time availability. The program is delivered completely online by Athena Global Education, through a combination of pre-recorded lectures followed by extensive learning materials along with dedicated personal tutor support. Additional certification is Postgraduate Diploma in Data Sciences from Cambridge International Qualifications, UK.
 The Master in Data Science is a 6 module program consisting of the following:

• Introduction to Data Analytics-This module introduces the learner to the basic concepts of Data Analytics and its practices executed in the business world.
• Application of Data Analytics-This module seeks to make learners understand the application of Data Analytics in business, and equip them with knowledge, skill, and tools to be able to apply Data Analytics.
• Machine Learning-This module aims to make learners understand the different machine learning problems among other things and how to design a learning system.
• Data Visualization-The objective of this module aids in the telling of tales by transforming data into a more understandable format and showing trends and outliers.
• Blockchain Essentials-This module provides a high-level understanding of Blockchain Technology and the different uses of Blockchain.
• Research Skills-The aim of this module is to explore the nature and associated complexities of research methods and methodology.

Finally, there is the Capstone Project which allows the learners to demonstrate their expertise in the modules they have gained knowledge throughout the course.
